In this tutorial we will explore how to create interaction between our live action footage and CG environment. This course goes through the entire process in real time, of creating a shot in which the live action footage interacts with our CG scene. We start out by matchmoving our footage in PFTrack and take a look at how we can easily solve multiple matchmoves. Then, we combine them in Maya to be part of a visual effects sequence. We then take the solved camera into Maya where proxy geometry is created for the live action hand and prop turntable. Many other things are covered such as animating, lighting using final gather and HDRI, UV mapping, displacement mapping, and rendering out many render passes. We then jump over into After Effects where we will be compositing 17 different render passes to create the final result in a linear workflow.

Topology Tools in ZBrush

In this series of tutorials, we will discuss the various topology functions in ZBrush and how they can be used in your projects. The topology, or edge flow, of our polygon meshes is important as we create our projects in ZBrush. Good topology can mean fewer overall polygons are needed to reflect the detail we want. Good edge flow is also important when creating final meshes that require animation. ZBrush provides a number of great tools that allow artists to customize the topology of their meshes- tools like the Topology Brush and QRemesher. ZBrush's topology tools can also be used to selective replace local areas with new topology and to create entirely new meshes for things like masks, hoods, capes, or other accessories. This course goes over the different Topology creation options in ZBrush and talks about some of the advantages and disadvantages of each. In the end you'll be able to decide which methods you like the best when modifying the topology of your own ZBrush projects.

Ben Hunt’s – Pro Web Design Course

Most web designers and web site owners simply don’t know the critical skills for making web sites succeed…
How to drive traffic. How to engage visitors with a compelling proposition. And then convert them into customers.
I have been researching, testing, and perfecting these techniques for 2 years.
Now I have put all that knowledge into this 6-month online course, so that you can become a web designer and earn real money.

Learn how to make websites that work

So what is a website that works? Well, a website that works must accomplish two things:
Get the right number of the right kind of people to visit it
Get as many of those people to take action
This can be summarised as Success =Traffic X Conversion
In order to do this, you need to understand the goals of the site, how to push visitors towards these goals by presenting solutions to their problems and explaining the benefits of your solutions.
It’s amazing to me now, that so many sites have a “contact us” page almost as an after thought when this one call to action can be the reason the site exists! This contact us page should be the starting point, and every subsequent page carefully crafted to funnel visitors towards it.

What you’ll learn

The main thing that Ben Hunt’s Pro Web Design Course has taught me is that there is an awful lot more to web design than I’d imagined and even though I’m only on Month three we’re covered:
Photoshop skills, Graphic design, Design analysis, Using Graphics, Page layout, Colour schemes, Contrast & Noticeability, Navigation design, SEO, Keyword research, Link building, CSS (including CSS3), HTML Semantic HTML, Branding and Positioning, Sales, Client management, Strategic Partnerships, Marketing any Business, Conversion Optimisation, Copywriting, Using Optimization tools.
Each month builds on what you’ve already learnt, adding further layers and dimensions in a way that totally opens your eyes!

You also get access to a whole bunch of great bonus material:

Complete AdWords course from Howie Jacobson (worth $997)
Full year’s subscription to websiteworks.tv (worth $108)
Save the Pixel ebook by Ben Hunt
Copy of Convert! book by Ben Hunt
Copy of ‘The Secret of Selling Anything’ (not available anywhere else)
Pro Graphics (worth $169)
WordPress Theme (worth $97)

Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4: A Photographer’s Handbook

photographers_handbook

Filefactory | Uploaded.net | 138.7 Mb

Publisher: RN | 2012 | EPUB + PDF | ISBN: 1937538036 | 344 pages

Adobe Photoshop is central to almost all photography workflows and Lightroom has been rapidly adopted as well. Each new version of the software is a milestone in the development of these vital imaging tools, and the 2012 releases are no exception.

Photographers often feel overwhelmed when starting with Photoshop; the sheer number of tools and options make it difficult for the novice. There is no shortage of instructional books, yet very few direct the user to the most significant aspects of the program in a way that reflects a real workflow for the photographer.

Adobe Certified Instructor Steve Laskevitch has leveraged his experience as a teacher and practitioner to create a guide that provides a clear and effective workflow for editing photographs in Photoshop CS6 and its companions Bridge, Camera Raw, and Lightroom 4. Focusing on the critical elements of a workflow rather than covering every arcane feature, this book is designed to get you working quickly in these applications.
In addition to the essential features of these programs, Laskevitch covers new features specific to the 2012 releases, including:

Lightroom geocoding—Quickly tag a photo with location data
Photoshop’s Blur Gallery (Tilt-Shift, Iris, and Field Blur tools)—Add selective focus and bokeh effects
New development controls in Lightroom and Camera Raw
Recomposing or retouching photos with the Content-aware Move Tool
Publishing to Blurb directly from Lightroom
Video (no longer limited to Photoshop Extended)
Adaptive Wide Angle—Make straight lines straight again
Face-Aware Mask Generation—An improvement to Color Range
Intelligent Auto-Correction
Adobe Camera Raw 7—Local controls for White Balance and Noise Reduction; new Black/White and Highlight/Shadow controls

Rick Torbett is regarded as among the best teachers of basketball in the world today. His lead role in the Better Basketball videos is one of the reasons theyпїЅve achieved such a high level of value to coaches everywhere. Coach Torbett strives to make even the most advanced techniques so easy to understand that even very young players grasp them quickly and apply those systems to their own game.

Maybe youпїЅre a pretty good player пїЅ quick, with good handles and a smooth release. Maybe you are powerful in the post. But, when the defense starts to notice your skills, they make adjustments that lock you down. Or, at least limit your scoring opportunities.

Maybe youпїЅre not so good, yet. You barely made the team or youпїЅre fighting to make the team. You want the respect of your coach and teammates. But most of all you want to get off the bench and into the game.

Either way, you get into the gym and work on your techniques with some of the drills you learned at camp, or from your coach, or from your parents. They are good drills, for sure, but how much are they really benefiting you? Are you using that time in the gym as efficiently as you could be? Are those hours going to convert into playing time?

Better BasketballпїЅs Player Development DVDs follow a specifically designed teaching progression to meet you wherever you are in the game пїЅ from the basics to the highest level skills. WeпїЅll show you exactly how lift the level of any of your skills пїЅ shooting, ball handling, 1-on-1 offense, 1-on-1 defense, passing, post play, scoring without the ball, and knocking down clutch free throws.

Never waste hours in the gym again! ItпїЅs time to accelerate your skills training and squeeze as much improvement as you can out of those training sessions. Better Basketball DVDs can help.

Whether you are the star or youпїЅre coming off the bench, your team really needs you. It needs you to be able to break down that great defender 1 on 1 for that crucial bucket. It needs you to find a way to get open for the momentum shifting three. It needs you to be able to step onto the court and contribute immediately. And, when you do пїЅ youпїЅll get what your after. More playing time.

When we say Read & React is a complete offensive system, we should probably clarify what we mean by пїЅcompleteпїЅ.

We mean that you can use this offensive system with absolutely any style of play or coaching philosophy you already have in place. We mean it that can be easily customized to take advantage of your teamпїЅs greatest strengths. We mean that any age group and any skill level can learn and apply it easily to up the quality of their game.

So when we say пїЅcompleteпїЅ, we mean itпїЅs the only offensive system youпїЅll ever need in your coaching career. Other coaches, after learning the Read & React system, have confessed that theyпїЅre not even sure how they could create a defense to counteract it пїЅ even when they already know the principles behind how the offensive system works!

With Read & React, youпїЅll learn how to:
пїЅ Develop your players individually and your entire team as a unit in a building block progression
пїЅ Teach your players how to engage the game by principle, not just by offensive play
пїЅ Attack and counter any complex defense пїЅ even up to the pro ball level
пїЅ Give each player the freedom to use his skills and attack the basket while still keeping a cohesive team strategy
пїЅ Eliminate the restrictions of set plays and give your players the skills to think strategically in game

The Read & React offensive system doesnпїЅt teach plays. It teaches your team how to play. Strategically. Thoughtfully. And yes, a whole lot better.

As a coach, you focus every ounce of your attention on getting a better game out of your players. No matter what their natural level of ability, you want to help those on the team get to their highest skill level possible. You want to encourage them, to inspire them, to push them just a little harder than they think they can take. You want to be the reason theyпїЅre proud of what theyпїЅve accomplished in the game.

VIDEO2BRAIN EXPLORING CSS POSITIONING BOOKWARE ISO

Genre: eLearning | Language: English
CSS enables you to control the look and layout of a web page much more precisely than you could with HTML alone, but it can be time-consuming to learn. In this innovative workshop, expert developer Candyce Mairs makes it quick and easy, walking you through the process of adding content to a web page and using CSS to position that content. You will learn CSS positioning concepts like the CSS “box model,” “floats,” and “clears,” and gain a deeper understanding of how HTML and CSS work together to create the look of your web page. By speaking the same language as the browser, you will learn to work with the browser to place content accurately and easily.
In this workshop you'll get an in-depth look at using CSS to precisely control the positioning of elements on your web pages. The contents of this course include:
Getting Started
In this chapter you’ll see why CSS positioning is important and be introduced to some of the fundamental concepts. You’ll learn how to set up and use an HTML editor, preview pages in multiple browsers, and install browser extensions.
The Browser Team
In this chapter we’ll focus on HTML and CSS: what each one does, and how they work together to position content in the browser.
Building the Header Area
In this chapter we’ll begin creating an example web page by working on the header. We’ll plan the layout, build the header box, and position content with HTML and CSS.
Adding the Navigation Menu
The next item to build on the page is the navigation menu that will go below the header image. In this chapter we’ll set up the menu box, add links, and format the menu to make it look nice.
Creating the Middle Column
The design for this web page contains three columns: the navigation menu and two columns of content. Now that the web page has the header and menu area, in this chapter we will move on to add the first content column (the middle column on the page) and drop the text content into this new column.
Creating the Right Column
In this chapter we’ll add the final (right) column, which will contain both text and images, to the web page.
Positioning Using a Float
When working with CSS positioning, it is important to understand the float property, which allows content to move easily into a column structure. In this chapter you’ll learn how to apply and finish a float.
Adding Background Colors and Images
In order to make the web page match the original graphic design, we need to add background colors and images. In this chapter you’ll see how to do this using a footer, the clear property, nested divs, and negative CSS property values.
Adding the Final Touches
In this chapter we’ll apply a few finishing touches to our web page, modifying some rules for text and the background color, applying some new rules, and adding interactivity.
The lessons are wrapped in a feature-rich interface that lets you jump to any topic and bookmark individual sections for later review. Full-Screen mode provides a hi-def, immersive experience, and Watch-and-Work mode shrinks the video into a small window so you can play the videos alongside your application. Also included are exercise files that give you an easy way to try out the techniques you learn.
